WICHITA, Kan. (Oct. 18, 2013) – Beechcraft Corporation today announced it will bring an impressive aircraft lineup to NBAA’s 2013 Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition, Oct. 22-24 in Las Vegas. The company will display eight aircraft from its commercial and military portfolio, as well as a historical Staggerwing, at its static display at Henderson Executive Airport, while featuring its Global Customer Support (GCS) organization at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

At static we’ll have our full line of piston-engine, turboprop, special mission and military aircraft, while the exhibit hall will showcase the products and services our Global Customer Support team offers Beechcraft and Hawker operators.”
The aircraft display at Henderson Executive Airport will debut the AT-6, T-6C and a 1943 Staggerwing. Beechcraft also is hosting a special exhibit with a King Air 350i customized for membership-based private aviation company Wheels Up. Beechcraft announced its partnership with Wheels Up in August with an order for up to 105 King Air 350i aircraft, representing the largest general aviation propeller aircraft order in history with a value of up to $1.4 billion.
New this year at the GCS booth will be a FlightSafety International simulator with a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics display. The GCS team will be on hand to discuss Support Plus (cost predictability/warranty programs), Hawker Beechcraft Parts & Distribution (genuine factory parts), Hawker Beechcraft Services (factory-owned service centers), Technical Support (Field Support Representatives, Hot Line specialists and Technical Publications) and Global Mission Support (government business and special mission maintenance / training support).
Beechcraft’s aircraft on static display at NBAA include:
- King Air 350i – The King Air 350i turboprop features next generation capabilities and efficiency, providing a responsible, sustainable alternative for business air travelers. - King Air 350ER – The King Air 350ER demonstrator aircraft is a standard extended-range (ER) airplane, which includes additional fuel capacity and increased capability landing gear allowing for 2,500 nautical mile range and take-off weight of 16,500 lbs. The aircraft’s unique interior configuration highlights the versatility and utility of the King Air family of aircraft with a fully functioning medical station complete with medical oxygen, vacuum and pressure, a medical cabinet and a side-facing, three-place couch for doctor/medical attendants. Additionally, the large cabin provides ample room for the installed airline style seating showcasing standard King Air chairs in a commuter airline mission. In addition, a maritime patrol console has also been installed to demonstrate surveillance configurations.
- King Air 250 – Building on a reputation of proven performance, the next-generation King Air 250 features composite winglets and lightweight composite propellers, delivering improved runway performance, range, speed and enhanced climb. Passengers travel in quintessential King Air comfort, easily moving about in the spacious square-oval cabin over long-distance journeys. The King Air 250 further defines mission reliability with a ram air recovery system that maintains peak performance when the anti-icing system is activated, resulting in a high-performance, all-weather aircraft.
- King Air C90GTx – With advanced payload and performance enhancements, the King Air C90GTx is part of a long line of hard–working turboprops. With greater range and efficiency, this entry level twin–turboprop aircraft is ready to meet the needs of owners and pilots, as well as value–conscious corporations around the globe. Furthermore, the King Air C90GTx now comes standard with a fully integrated Collins Pro Line 21™ avionics system – the same sophisticated system found in large 30 million dollar jets. Unchanged, however, is the King Air’s singular blend of versatility, ruggedness, comfort and quality.
- Baron G58 – The twin-engine piston aircraft that pilots aspire to own, the Baron G58 offers unmatched performance and range/payload capabilities in its segment. It also features a premium cabin that provides the best ride of any twin-engine aircraft, including flexible seating that allows for seating of two, four or six people, with the option to reconfigure and remove seats to accommodate mission needs and large baggage items. - AT-6 – The AT-6 is a multi-role, multi-mission aircraft system designed to meet the spectrum of needs for the light attack mission. Leveraging a range of highly-specialized, but off-the-shelf capabilities, the AT-6 is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment such as Pratt and Whitney PT6A-68D engine, CMC Esterline’s mission modified Cockpit 4000, Lockheed Martin’s A-10C-based mission system and L-3 WESCAM’s MX-15Di sensor suite. The AT-6 leads the light attack market with purpose-built capability, affordability, sustainability and interoperability for the most demanding of scenarios.
- T-6C – The T-6 trainer offers military operators worldwide the most proven and cost-effective primary aviation training system available today. In addition to the hard-point wing, the T-6C features an integrated glass cockpit and the advanced Esterline CMC Cockpit 4000 avionics suite that greatly expands advanced training opportunities. The systems are integrated with a Hands-On Throttle and Stick, providing the student pilot and instructor with a simpler interface to the digital cockpit.
