Denver, CO - October 15, 2013 - Industry veterans, Sue Carriere and Ty Little, announce the launch of Carriere & Little LLP, an aviation law firm focused on the business and legal needs of aircraft owners, operators, and management companies.

The Colorado-based firm serves clients throughout the U.S. working directly with aircraft owners and operators as well as other general law practices to provide aviation specific legal advice and expertise. Carriere & Little LLP offers a full suite of business aviation legal services related to aircraft transactions, ownership, and operations, helping clients mitigate risk and liability and working with them to develop ideal ownership structures based on the client's specific goals and mission. These services allow clients to take full advantage of the business and financial benefits available to them while maintaining regulatory compliance with the FAA, IRS, and other government agencies.

Combined, Carriere and Little have over 25 years of legal and aviation experience. The firm has offices at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport in Broomfield, CO (KBJC) and has plans to open a second office at Centennial Airport in Englewood, CO (KAPA) by the end of the year. Sue Carriere specializes in transactional law and structuring aviation related agreements, businesses, ownership, and operational entities to minimize taxes and liability. Ty Little, a Lieutenant Colonel in the Wyoming Air National Guard and licensed ATP pilot, focuses on ensuring his clients' risks are kept to minimum, tax burden is as low as possible, and benefits are maximized. The firm has other full-time and contract staff on hand to assist its clients consisting of individual owners, family offices, Part 135 air carriers, Part 91 flight departments and management companies, airport developers, and international aviation industry professionals.

"We are committed to the business aviation community and serving in the best interests of our clients," says Carriere, a partner with the firm. "The IRS and FAA don't always agree or align when it comes to general aviation, so there are a lot of pitfalls an owner and operator can fall into," she continues. "It's not "if" these regulatory agencies find an error in your operations, it's "when", so it really pays to have experts like us in your corner to keep you out of trouble. On the other hand, even if you are compliant already, often we can help you discover alternative ownership or business structures to improve your financial situation and achieve other goals."

Carriere and Little are active members of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and the Colorado Aviation Business Association (CABA), as well as the Colorado Bar Association and Society for International Affairs. Carriere is also member of the American Bar Association and Colorado Women's Bar Association.
