Duncan Aviation Adds Portland Engine Services

Oct. 10, 2013
Operators in the upper northwest region of the United States now have more convenient access to Duncan's mobile engine services, like AOG engine emergency services and most scheduled and unscheduled events, including engine changes.

LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation officially added its 10th Rapid Response engine location, this one located in Portland, Ore., at the Portland International Airport (PDX). Operators in the upper northwest region of the United States now have more convenient access to Duncan Aviation’s mobile engine services, like AOG engine emergency services and most scheduled and unscheduled events, including engine changes.

Duncan Aviation has been providing mobile engine services in the area since 2010 with a Rapid Response location in Seattle, Wash. From the beginning, the Seattle team has been on the run, traveling throughout the area performing R&Rs, routine engine maintenance and inspections as far south as Eugene, Ore. To better support this growing customer demand in the Portland area, Duncan Aviation made the decision to establish a Rapid Response engine technician based on the Portland International Airport within the Flightcraft facility located at 7777 NE Airport Way. That technician is 30-year aviation veteran Kevin Watrus. To reach Watrus directly, call the shop at 971.998.8014. To schedule AOG engine service through our Rapid Response Team network, call 877.522.0111.

Shane Heier, the Rapid Response team leader based in the Seattle location, believes having Watrus on location in Portland is the right move. “The demand for quality mobile engine services is high in this area. Having Kevin on-site within Flightcraft in Portland improves our response time and reduces travel-related costs for operators in Oregon needing turbine engine services.
