(Teterboro, New Jersey, October 4, 2013): Dassault Falcon Jet recently appointed Carlos Brana to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Teterboro Operations. The position oversees a number of strategic sales and support activities that will be critical to the Company’s initiatives in the coming years.
“Dassault Falcon Jet is evolving in anticipation of our customers’ needs in the coming decade,” said John Rosanvallon, President and CEO of Dassault Falcon Jet. “The creation of this new position will help us to achieve objectives that will further improve the customer experience. Carlos’ extensive experience with Dassault Aviation, first in France and then in the United States, along with his proven track record as a respected member of Dassault’s management team, make him the ideal leader to step into this role.”
In his new position, Brana will oversee the Finance, Customer Service, Contracts and Spec & Design departments as well as Dassault Aircraft Services (DAS), the Company-owned service center network. He will also focus on the strategic development of customer support activities in new markets.
Prior to this promotion, Brana served as Vice President, Contracts and Specification, a position he assumed in 2008. He joined Dassault Falcon Jet in 2005 as the International Sales Manager in China and in 2007 he was named Vice President, Assistant to the President and CEO at Dassault Falcon Jet.
Before moving to Dassault Falcon Jet, Brana served for 20 years at Dassault Aviation, first as an engineer in the design office in St Cloud, France, where he worked on the Rafale fighter demonstrator, and then as a sales manager, eventually becoming Vice President for the Middle East.
Brana graduated from the Ecole Centrale de Paris in 1982, where he received his engineering degree. He also holds an MBA from HEC (Hautes Études Commerciales).
