In June 2013, the Federal Administration (FAA) awarded a “lower landing credit” approved supplemental type certificate (STC) for the EFVS.
The HUD Vision Access system provides numerous benefits to the operator including: safer taxi, take-off and land in low-visibility conditions such as total darkness, fog, rain, snow and smog. In addition, the system allows operators to descend below the lower minimums, giving them access to areas where other aircraft and operators cannot land.
