LINCOLN, NEB. — Duncan Aviation recently installed and certified Honeywell’s latest version of the NZ-2010 FMS 6.1 software upgrade, version 03040, in a Falcon 900B model aircraft.
“This version fixes the anomalies that were experiences in the earlier versions,” explains Gary Harpster in Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln, Neb., Avionics Sales. “This upgrade is what pilots and operators have long been looking for as a solution to achieve the performance basis needed to achieve WAAS, LPV, .3 RNP and ADS-B. Now that this version has been completed, operators may start equipping their aircraft for the NextGen mandates.”
