Accord Technology Takes NexNav GPS WAAS/SBAS Detect and Avoid Solution to AUVSI's Unmanned Systems Convention

August 12, 2013 – Phoenix, AZ – Accord Technology, LLC is exhibiting (#4226) for the first time at this year’s AUVSI Unmanned Systems annual convention in Washington D.C. August 12-15, 2013.  

Well known for its certified, fully US FAA ADS-B fully compliant GPS WAAS/SBAS Sensors and Receivers for NextGen solutions in the airline, business and general aviation industries, Accord Technology’s NexNav products are debuting at the AUSVI convention to introduce the unmanned industry to its capabilities of enabling fully FAA compliant GPS for Detect and Avoid. This includes OEM circuit card assembly receivers the size of a credit card as well as line replaceable sensor units.

Accord Technology received TSO-C145c for its NexNav mini in 2010 and fully qualified as GPS source per the US FAA ADS-B Advisory Circular 20-165. Unmatched by any other sensor, the NexNav mini GPS technology was the first GPS WAAS sensor to be authorized US FAA TSO-C145c WAAS Class Beta-1 ONLY. The NexNav mini solution is a market-breaking hybrid of automotive technology and aviation requirements providing an affordable solution for ADS-B GPS source.
