Martin "Marty" Fluegge is now the Director of Maintenance for the fixed base operation's aviation maintenance facility at Shreveport Regional Airport (SHV).
TAC Air, A division of Truman Arnold Companies, announces the addition of Martin “Marty” Fluegge as Director of Maintenance for the fixed base operation’s aviation maintenance facility at Shreveport Regional Airport (SHV).

According to TAC Air SHV general manager Wes Williams, “The Shreveport and surrounding aviation community will benefit from Marty’s presence in the market. He adds to TAC Air and the region a tremendous wealth of technical knowledge and experience. We are thrilled to have him.”

Marty holds an A&P certificate with inspector authorization and has extensive experience on a wide array of aircraft including Gulfstream, the American Eurocopter EC135, AS350, and EC120, the MBB BO-105, the Sikorsky S76, and Cessna Citation X, CJ, and CJ2 aircraft. The addition of Fluegge to TAC Air SHV’s maintenance facility “brings a unique expertise to the region, especially considering Marty’s experience with rotary-wing aircraft, which are plentiful in Louisiana,” according to TAC Air Vice President and COO Christian Sasfai.

With a career that originated in the Coast Guard, Marty takes a personal interest in every aircraft that comes through the shop, stating “I know how important safety is, and how important it is to perform the job correctly the first time.”

TAC Air operates 14 fixed base operations across the continent, with other maintenance facilities at Raleigh-Durham, NC, (RDU), and Fort Smith, AR (FSM), as well as TAC Air’s Keystone Aviation branded maintenance shops in Aurora, OR, (UAO), and Salt Lake City, UT (SLC).
