ROWLETT, TEXAS, JULY 26, 2013 – NavWorx, Inc. announced today its ADS600-BG Universal Access Transceiver (UAT) will be offered at special show pricing during AirVenture Oshkosh 2013. The ADS600-BG is a remote mounted UAT optimized for use with the FAA’s NextGen transportation system. The ADS600-BG features an internal TSO-C145c certified WAAS GPS. The device meets the FAA’s 2020 mandate for ADS-B equipage in all aircraft operating in U.S. airspace where a transponder is now required.

For a limited time, customers can purchase the ADS600-BG for only $3,040.00, reflecting 20% off MSRP. To qualify, customers must place a 20% payment deposit (cash/check). Balance due and delivery will be scheduled for 60 days from date of deposit. Offer is valid through August 18, 2013, and is subject to modification.

The ADS600-BG is a single device that sends ADS-B Out information and receives ADS-B In information including ADS-B, ADS-R and TIS-B traffic and FIS-B weather. Providing multiple interfaces, the ADS600-BG supports a variety of panel-mounted EFIS, MFD and portable displays. The ADS600-BG is FAA TSO-C154c and TSO-C145c approved.

For aircraft operators, ADS-B equipage will be driven by the delivery of free weather and traffic information in the cockpit. In 2020, equipage will be mandatory. Today, services are being broadcast throughout the majority of the continental U.S. including Alaska and Gulf of Mexico.

A NavWorx ADS-B solution ensures complete integration of the new technology with existing cockpit devices. First, the 978 MHz UAT specification satisfies the ADS-B mandate for all aircraft operating below 18,000 feet. Second, a built-in WAAS GPS improves accuracy and is a requirement for aircraft not presently equipped. Third, NavWorx offers connectivity to virtually any portable or panel-mounted display device. These include popular Aspen, AFS, GRT, GPSMAP, MX20, etc. An ARINC 429 interface allows support for Garmin GNS 530/430 — no longer supported by Garmin — as well as other displays.

iPad is also supported with the ADS600-BG. An optional WiFi Adapter allows wireless connectivity to iPad (and other portable device applications). The NavWorx ADS600-BG will also support eKneeBoard, a new iPad application that delivers geo-referenced airport diagrams, FAA charts and NavAids, Flight Planning, NEXRAD Weather, and pilot training courses with the convenience and portability of a tablet device.

While other products may appear to offer similar features, only NavWorx delivers the full benefits of ADS-B, alleviating the need for transponder or display changes, additional equipment or installations. The ADS600-B series is a single compact unit and is fully compatible with the most commonly used EFIS, EFB, iPad and other devices.
