WICHITA, Kan. (July 25, 2013) Beechcraft Corporation today announced it will feature a mix of its commercial and military products, as well as historic aircraft, at the 2013 Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture. The show runs July 29 through Aug. 4 in Oshkosh, Wis.
Located in static display area 322-345, Beechcraft will have its entire current line of commercial aircraft: King Air 350i, King Air 250, King Air C90GTx, Baron G58 and Bonanza G36. The company also is bringing the AT-6 light attack aircraft as well as a 1943 Beechcraft Staggerwing.
This is the first time at Oshkosh for the AT-6 light attack aircraft, which covers a wide-mission spectrum including training, manned Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and light precision attack, while offering non-traditional capabilities for homeland defense and civil support missions.
“We’re expecting the aircraft at our exhibit to turn a few heads this week and to attract a diverse crowd with our mix of commercial pistons and turboprops, the Oshkosh debut of our AT-6 light attack aircraft and a chance to see a 70-year-old Staggerwing,” said Keith Nadolski, president, Beechcraft Americas.
Beechcraft’s aircraft on static display at EAA AirVenture include:
