StockMarket.aero Launches Android App Following iPhone App Success

July 24, 2013
The StockMarket.aero Android App comes one year after the successful launch of the StockMarket.aero iPhone App to give aviation service providers two complimentary mobile app resources for accessing StockMarket.aero.

SAN DIEGO, CA, July 24, 2013 – Component Control announced today that its Android App for StockMarket.aero, the world’s largest open online aviation parts eMarketplace, is now available for download from Google Play.  The StockMarket.aero Android App comes one year after the successful launch of the StockMarket.aero iPhone App to give aviation service providers two complimentary mobile app resources for accessing StockMarket.aero.  Both apps allow StockMarket.aero members to quickly and easily access over 50 million qualified line items of aviation inventory and capabilities via a robust, mobile format.

“Our new Android App gives users the same features such as part searching, sending RFQ’s and Purchase Orders, and quick visibility of vendors’ contact information just like users can do on our website, StockMarket.aero, and our hugely successful iPhone App,” comments Jason Cordoba, Director of StockMarket.aero.  “Our most recent update to the iPhone App, allowing users to create an account directly from the mobile app, is also a feature within the Android App, helping users get to the information they need more quickly in order to better manage their part sourcing and MRO service requirements.”

After download of either mobile App, users are able to:

• View current stock availability or MRO part capabilities by part number and alternate search

• View part images, certifications and other documentation

• Access complete vendor contact details and company profiles

• Submit RFQ’s or Purchase Orders to any vendor,

• Add any contact into your mobile address book with a single touch

Cordoba continues, “In recent months, we’ve had over 2,700 downloads of the iPhone App version from users in over 28 countries.  We expect the same activity for the Android App version as most aviation professionals are looking for ways to improve productivity through mobile resources.”

StockMarket.aero apps also offer a unique advertising platform for vendors to enhance their branding and further promote their products by logo placement on all their parts, in addition to higher part ranking in all the search results.
