MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – FCX Systems, Inc. customers, old and new, have embraced the ability to send an employee to the Morgantown, W.Va. facility for a unique factory training session on products they have purchased.

The company’s most recent visit came from Camp Pendleton, a Marine Corps Base, where more than 40 of FCX Systems’ frequency converter units are in operation. And with the unique in-house training FCX provides, Pete Minalga of Camp Pendleton now has additional skills and knowledge to help operate and maintain this machinery more efficiently and effectively.

Minalga has been working with Virgil Pase, the senior technician and lead tech support specialist in the FCX customer relations group, over the phone and said Pase has been a great help

“I’ve never been offered in-house training from any other company,” Minalga said. “I had some problems with working some boards, not knowing exactly how they were wired, and though reading the manual and speaking with Virgil over the phone was a great help, I was really interested in coming out to learn it firsthand.”

Though it took some convincing with his executives at Camp Pendleton to send him out here for the training, Minalga said the investment was worth it for him and for the company in general. FCX offers this unique on-site training service to all customers as well as maintenance and field services.

“I like FCX products, a lot of other units I’ve worked on are much harder to operate, where things are put – but I’ve never had an issue with the forty-plus products we have from FCX,” Minalga said.

“They have been working out great for us, and for that reason, we will be returning in the future for more business when we are in need of additional units.”
