Jet Aviation St. Louis Services First Embraer Lineage as New Authorized Service Center

St. Louis / July 18, 2013 – Just a few short weeks after Jet Aviation St. Louis earned certification as the first and only Authorized Service Center (ASC) for the Embraer Lineage business jet in the United States, the aviation center wheeled its first Lineage into a hangar on July 16 to begin servicing it. Adding the Embraer Lineage to its growing list of capabilities comes just three months after beginning to service aircraft in a narrow-body hangar constructed specifically for such larger airframes.

“Certification as an authorized service center for the Lineage is a welcome complement to the facility’s longtime ASC status for the smaller Embraer Legacy,” said Chuck Krugh, senior vice president and general manager at Jet Aviation St. Louis. “This certification validates the impressive experience and expertise of our crews and our capability to handle the larger airframes in the corporate/business jet category. This market segment demands fine, detailed craftsmanship and expert mechanical skill. We’re proud of our longtime association with Embraer and especially pleased that Embraer has recognized Jet Aviation St. Louis for the expanded capabilities required for this level of service.”

Jet Aviation St. Louis will perform a 36-month inspection and address applicable service bulletins on the Lineage at its facility at St. Louis Downtown Airport in Cahokia, Ill.

“Stepping up to the Lineage expands our airframe capabilities dramatically and is further proof that we provide superior service in the MRO segment, as well as in completions. We continue to deliver a wide array of top-quality services and products,” Krugh said.
