July 17, 2013 - Bedford, TX -- Texas-based night vision technology lighting leader, REBTECH, has recently completed a contract to modify four Robinson R44 helicopters for the Estonian Air Force.  The installation included the modification of all aircraft lighting, which is based on REBTECH's NVG Supplemental Type Certificated (STC), and was provided by REBTECH technicians on location at the Estonian Air Force Base near Amari, Estonia.  The addition of night vision capability will allow for comprehensive NVG training of the country's military rotor wing aviators.

REBTECH installed the FAA STC equipment for the Robinson R44 helicopter under the FAA guidance for foreign military programs.  The use of night vision technology has allowed the Estonia Air Force to expand their night operations with improved safety and operational readiness using the REBTECH NVG cockpit and cabin lighting equipment.  Two of the aircraft are equipped with external load provisions used for training.  The four aircraft will be supported by REBTECH from their main offices located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

REBTECH will be exhibiting at the upcoming 43rd Annual Airborne Law Enforcement (ALEA) Conference and Exposition in Orlando, Florida from 17-20 JUL. REBTECH invites anyone interested in the latest lighting technology and equipment to visit them on booth #366/368.
