WestJet Encore Signs with Lufthansa Technik for Bombardier Q400 Component Support

Lufthansa Technik will maintain components removed from WestJet Encore aircraft and provide replacements from its extensive pool of Q400 stock.

WestJet Encore, WestJet's new regional carrier, has signed a Total Component Support TCS® deal with Lufthansa Technik to provide component repair and pool access support for its new and growing fleet of Q400s. 

Under a multi year agreement, Lufthansa Technik will maintain components removed from WestJet Encore aircraft and provide replacements from its extensive pool of Q400 stock. All logistics and transportation will be handled by Lufthansa Technik. Also, as part of the agreement, Lufthansa Technik will create a new pool of Q400 stock in North America.

WestJet Encore has committed to twenty firm orders, with a further twenty five options.
