Gurnee, IL – Petroferm a Vantage Specialty Chemicals business is pleased to announce that Mr. Dirk Budde, Dipl.-Ing. has joined our Cleaning team as Regional Sales Manager – Europe. Dirk has a Masters in Management and a Process Engineering degree and is highly experienced in the specialty chemical field. Dirk’s most recent role as a Business Development Specialist with Dow Corning where he was responsible for OEM’s as well as Tier 1 and Tier e.g. in the electronics sector. Dirk was a recipient of Dow Corning’s achievement awards in 2008, 2009 and 2010 for sales and business development excellence. He has an extensive background in working with customers and distribution partners in business development. Dirk has also held positions in production management as well as Research and Development.
Dirk will be responsible for sales of AXAREL®, BIOACT®, CleanSafe™ and LENIUM® cleaning product brands in Europe, Middle East, and Africa and be critical in growing our European electronics and precision markets. Dirk will work with our customers and distribution partners throughout the region with the strong support of our Customer Service Center located in Chertsey, UK.
Dirk will be based in Dortmund, Germany.
