Tony Lefebvre Named ASIG’s President And Chief Operating Officer

Lefebvre joins ASIG from Spirit Airlines where he was formerly the COO, responsible for airport, technical, and flight operations, properties and facilities, safety and security.

Orlando ... ASIG®, an industry leader in aviation services, announced today that Tony Lefebvre has been named ASIG’s President and Chief Operating Officer effective July 1, 2013. Tony is an industry veteran with 20 plus years of senior management experience in the airline industry. He will be responsible for ensuring ASIG’s continued growth and delivery of innovative world-class services to the aviation industry. He will report directly to Michael Scheeringa, President and Chief Executive Officer of BBA Aviation’s Flight Support division.

Tony joins ASIG from Spirit Airlines where he was formerly the Chief Operating Officer, responsible for airport, technical, and flight operations, properties and facilities, safety and security. Prior to that role, Tony was with US Airways for 17 years, serving in several senior management positions with divisional responsibilities across their global network. He holds a B.A. in Business from the University of Maryland.
