Jet Aviation Appointed Exclusive Maintenance Provider for Art Aviation

Jet Aviation will provide scheduled base maintenance from its maintenance facilities in Basel or Geneva and line maintenance to the fleet from its Moscow Vnukovo facility.

Basel / Switzerland, June 11, 2013 – Jet Aviation and Vienna-based Art Aviation have agreed that Jet Aviation will serve as Art Aviation’s exclusive maintenance provider for the company’s fleet of aircraft.

Art Aviation, a Vienna-based aircraft operator founded in 2012, has appointed Jet Aviation as its exclusive maintenance provider for its fleet of aircraft, currently including two Bombardier Global XRS, two Global 6000, a Boeing BBJ1 and a Dassault Falcon 900Ex and Falcon 7X. Jet Aviation will provide scheduled base maintenance from its maintenance facilities in Basel or Geneva and line maintenance to the fleet from its Moscow Vnukovo facility.

Jet Aviation Moscow Vnukovo and Bombardier have an ongoing agreement to maintain an inventory of critical spare parts at the Moscow facility to help reduce aircraft downtime of Bombardier owners and operators in Russia, particularly during AOG situations.

As part of Jet Aviation’s global MRO network, the company particularly supports AOG requirements throughout the Russian region. Jet Aviation Moscow Vnukovo is a line maintenance, AOG and authorized warranty line service facility for Bombardier aircraft products as well as an authorized line service facility for the full line of Gulfstream jets. Located next to the Vnukovo 3 FBO, the facility currently holds maintenance approvals from EASA #145.0472, Aruba DCA, Cayman CAA and Bermuda DCA.

Jet Aviation Basel is a world-renowned completions and maintenance center employing more than 1,200 professionals. The facility has in-house design and engineering departments, along with on-site cabinetry, upholstery, fiberglass and paint shops. The organization is capable of outfitting jets as large as an Airbus A380 or the Boeing 747-8 series and has already completed numerous Airbus 319ACJ, A320, A330, A340 and Boeing B737, B757, B767 and B747-400 aircraft. Jet Aviation Basel also provides aircraft maintenance and repair services to a wide variety of business jets. Jet Aviation Geneva was founded in 1969 and offers maintenance, refurbishment and FBO services. The company provides complete maintenance, repair and avionics support to private and corporate operators. As a manufacturer’s authorized warranty service center, Jet Aviation Geneva specializes in base maintenance for Gulfstream II/III/IV/V/200/300/350/400/450/500/550/650 aircraft, for the Bombardier Global Express series, including the G6000 version, and for Boeing BBJ.
