Paris … Ontic, the aerospace industry’s leading producer of licensed and acquired OEM legacy products and systems, has announced the opening of a new fuel gauging and measurement systems repair services facility servicing the Asia Pacific Region. Located at the Seletar Aerospace Park in Singapore, the new facility is co-located with BBA Aviation’s Dallas Airmotive Singapore Regional Turbine Center.
The Ontic facility will primarily focus on Boeing 777 and Airbus A318, A319 and A320 fuel measurement system product repairs as well as Boeing 737 Classic, Fokker and Airbus A300 aircraft. The repair operation is a satellite to Ontic’s Cheltenham, UK facility and expands Ontic’s global MRO services capabilities.
“The opening of our latest MRO support services facility in Singapore further demonstrates Ontic’s global commitment to be where the customer needs us,” stated Ontic President, Gareth Hall. “This facility further supports the fuel measurement systems products acquired from GE Aviation Systems by Ontic in May 2011,” continued Hall.
Ontic also intends to continue to grow the new Singapore-based fuel measurement MRO support services throughout 2013.
In addition to Singapore, Ontic’s global legacy focus is supported from manufacturing and MRO facilities in Chatsworth, California; Houston, Texas and Cheltenham in the United Kingdom.
