HMSHost, the world leader in operating food and beverage concessions in airports, is proud to announce the extension of the current food and beverage contracts at Stockholm Arlanda Airport up to 2018 and 2020. The agreement covers 9 units at the Scandinavian airport and operations are expected to generate revenues of over € 70 million during the period 2013 – 2020.
Active at the airport since 2005, HMSHost has proved to be a reliable food & beverage partner in this Scandinavian hub. During this time HMSHost used their expertise to develop a high quality concession program. The Italian-inspired Trattoria Milano will serve Italy’s best known dishes including pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads and desserts. The leading Scandinavian coffee shop chainWayne’s Express offers passengers at the airport a wide range of cold and hot drinks. With the recent opening of the third Max unit at the airport, the Swedish hamburger restaurant which only uses Swedish beef and chicken and offers different types of allergy-friendly food. At fast casual dining restaurant Taste simply Swedish, travellers are welcome for popular local favourites such as the classic Swedish prawn sandwich, gravlax, herring platter and traditional Swedish meatballs whilst enjoying wonderful views across the airport's runways.
Stockholm Arlanda Airport is one of Sweden's most important hubs, and offers great opportunities for the over 19 million travellers each year. The emphasis is on Scandinavian travellers, which also shows in the top ten destination list: Copenhagen, London, Oslo, Luleå, Helsinki, Gothenburg, Amsterdam, Malmö, Umeå and Frankfurt.
