Helicopter Association International Now Accepting Nominations for 2014 Salute to Excellence Awards

The Helicopter Association International (HAI) is now accepting nominations for the industry’s prestigious Salute to Excellence Awards.

Alexandria, Va. (June 21, 2013)The Helicopter Association International (HAI) is now accepting nominations for the industry’s prestigious Salute to Excellence Awards. The awards will be presented on February 26, 2014, during HAI HELI-EXPO in Anaheim, California. Nominations should be submitted online.

For more than 50 years, HAI's Salute to Excellence Awards have recognized outstanding achievements in the helicopter industry. The Salute to Excellence Awards dinner is one of the most prestigious and eagerly anticipated events at HELI-EXPO® each year.

The nine award categories reflect the diverse range of people who work in the rotorcraft industry and missions they support, from pilots and safety practitioners, to flight instructors and those who use helicopters to serve their communities and save lives.

Any individual or organization, whether or not they are an HAI member, may submit nominations or be nominated in one or more of the award categories.

The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, September 27, 2013. However, HAI strongly encourages anyone submitting nominations to do so as soon as possible.
