Paris Le Bourget, 19 June 2013 - TAP Maintenance & Engineering and AFI KLM E&M recently renewed and expanded their mutual confidence to their respective services. The two partners adjusted the perimeter of their collaboration, which now covers the repair support for A330-340 components and support of APU equipping TAP Portugal's fleet of A330/A340 to be performed by AFI KLM E&M. Also, within the frame of the partnership between TAP M&E and AFI KLM E&M, TAP M&E will provide heavy maintenance services for A330s and A340s of the AIR FRANCE KLM Group fleets.
Long-term relationship
AFI KLM E&M and TAP M&E have an enduring aircraft maintenance connection: for over 15 years, the two partners have worked together on numerous programs. Convinced by AFI KLM E&M know-how with the performance of its component support solutions and its expertise in APU maintenance, carried out by its specialist subsidiary EPCOR, TAP M&E decided to extend the relationship for the long term. AFI KLM E&M will carry out repair works - as well as spare parts standard exchange or leasing if necessary - of components for which TAP M&E does not perform inhouse.
