Spairliners awarded by HOP! for E-Jet after-sales component services

Spairliners is a Joint Venture between Air France Industries (50 percent) and Lufthansa Technik (50 percent).

Hamburg/Paris, June 18, 2013 - Today, Spairliners GmbH has announced its new contract with the regional airline HOP!-REGIONAL which includes the long term support of 26 E-170 and E-190 aircraft. Since two month Spairliners, known as the market leader for Airbus A380 Integrated Component Care, additionally provides an equal spectrum to the E-Jet family of the Brazilian manufacturer Embraer. With the latest contract the company now has 10 regional airlines under contract.

"The expansion of our portfolio, with the integration of E-Jet component services is the result of our continuous success with our A380 Integrated Component Care program. This success has enabled us to take on a new challenge and allows us to grow with the addition of Embraer airline customers", Andre Schulte-Bisping, CFO at Spairliners says. "The after-sales component service for E-Jets is an integral part of our growth strategy", summarizes CEO, Olivier Mazzucchelli. "Our approved business model now brings out an advantageous solution for all E-Jet operating airlines and additionally, an alternative to the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). We are expecting to have more than 200 E-Jet aircraft under contract in 2014, including E-Jets from our mother companies AIR FRANCE KLM and Lufthansa."

With its new E-Jet inventory and continual development within the project, Spairliners receives full support from two well respected MROs (Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance and Lufthansa Technik) and their comprehensive spare part stock. Lionel Guérin, HOP! Chairman and CEO explains: "HOP! is a very demanding customer regarding its suppliers, with a specific focus on their service level. We renewed our trust in Spairliners as they proved to be the right supplier for HOP!-REGIONAL being able to meet all our requirements." Spairliners enables its customers unlimited access to 1,100 part numbers (P/N) of the Embraer aircraft type and repairs invoiced per flight hour.

HOP!

It operates approximately 530 daily flights with each subsidiary airline's own fleet (Embraer for HOP!-REGIONAL, Bombardier for HOP!-BRIT AIR and ATR for HOP!-AIRLINAIR).
