Single & Global Certification Renewed

June 14, 2013
Nine standards covered across Air France Industries entire industrial footprint.

Paris, Amstelveen, 14 June 2013 - Following an exacting, in-depth external audit by Bureau Veritas from 25 March to 4 April 2013, Air France Industries has obtained the renewal of its Single & Global Certification for a further three years.

First obtained in 2007, this certification was and remains a world first. It is deemed to be "unique" because it covers AFI KLM E&M's entire French industrial footprint, comprising its CDG, Le Bourget, Orly, Villeneuve-Le-Roi and Toulouse Blagnac sites.

The certification is also qualified as "global" because it offers the particularity of covering nine leading international standards: ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), ISO 22000 (Food Safety), ISO 15489 (Documentation), ISO 26000/Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), EN 9100 (Aircraft Maintenance - Design), EN 9110 (Aircraft Maintenance - Repairs), EN 9120 (Storage), and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety).

A guarantee of confidence for clients
Over a period of ten days, the Bureau Veritas auditors visited all sites and interviewed AFI KLM E&M personnel. The extensive mobilization of personnel was a major contributory factor to the positive decision. Obtaining renewal of the certification was a major objective for AFI KLM E&M in 2013. Certification will help bolster the program of continuous performance improvement on behalf of clients and other stakeholders. It also delivers distinctive value since no other MRO player or operator has been awarded this certification.
