AirIT To Deliver Its EASE Virtualized Shared Use Platform To MIA

June 10, 2013, Orlando, FL – AirIT, the leading provider of innovative information technology products and services to the air transportation industry, announced today that it will implement their EASE™ virtualized shared use platform at Miami International Airport (MIA).

Upon implementation, all of the airport’s commercial airline carriers will have the ability to run their own native applications on the MIA network without requiring any software development or modification. Most importantly, the addition of the EASE™ platform will enable Miami’s airlines to deliver a consistent, optimized gate and boarding experience to their customers and ensure the benefit of full native business process functionality.

Comments Betros Wakim, AirIT CEO, “We are very excited to implement our EASE™ platform technology at Miami International Airport. Adding this solution to our existing operational and business products already deployed in the airport will enhance the existing value they receive from those systems and provide an even better customer experience.”

Maurice Jenkins, Miami International Airport Director of Information Systems, adds, “AirIT has been an excellent technology partner for the airport for more than ten years. We are looking forward to working with them to add this new system and allow our airline partners to enhance their branding and deliver the best possible passenger experience.”

AirIT’s EASE™ virtualized technology solution delivers true flexibility and cost savings airports can pass on to airline partners. The platform can be implemented at any airport, regardless of size, at a cost far below that of traditional common use systems, which are based on proprietary software and limited to using only the operating systems, computers, and peripherals approved by the system vendor. EASE™ is currently operational at 26 airports in North America.
