Jet Aviation Geneva Appointed As New Authorized Service Center

Signed at EBACE, the contract will see Jet Aviation Geneva provide maintenance services for Nextant's growing fleet of aircraft across the continent.

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND, June 11, 2013 – Nextant Aerospace (“Nextant”), maker of the Nextant 400XTi, the world’s only remanufactured business jet, has announced Jet Aviation Geneva as an authorized service center for Europe.

Signed at EBACE, the contract will see Jet Aviation Geneva provide maintenance services for Nextant’s growing fleet of aircraft across the continent. Just last month the companies signed a similar agreement adding Jet Aviation Singapore to Nextant’s global network of owned and authorized service centers.

With its fuel-efficient, low-emission engines and impressive range (2,003 nm/3,709km) the 400XTi is ideally suited to the European market where it has made a strong sales debut. Now fully EASA-certified, demand for the low-cost jet is expected to grow even further.

The 400XTi is about half the price of its competitors with significantly lower maintenance and operating bills. Its full factory warranty is backed by a worldwide network of owned and authorized service centers and the world’s largest inventory of BE40 rotable parts. Jet Aviation Geneva will have full access to Nextant’s global spares inventory and distribution infrastructure, which is supported by Directional Capital’s Aerospace Products International (API).

Jet Aviation, founded in Switzerland in 1967, is an established leader in business aviation services with 22 facilities throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. The Geneva Service Center, which opened in 1969, provides complete maintenance, repair and avionics support as well as FBO services. It also supplies unscheduled maintenance services including defect rectification, structural repairs, engine replacements and AOG services.

“We are delighted to expand our strong working relationship with one of the world’s premier service providers.” says Jay Heublein, Nextant’s EVP Global Sales and Marketing. “Europe is a key market for us and we’re determined to give our European customers the very best in after-sales service. Our new 400XTi is a class-leading aircraft and with Jet Aviation we can now offer its owners and operators an equally-exceptional standard of support.”

“Nextant Aerospace offers a unique product and we are extremely glad to be selected as an authorized service center in Europe," said Cyril Martiniere, Managing Director, Jet Aviation Geneva. "We look forward to supporting Nextant’s customers with our world-class maintenance services.”
