Chicago, June 6, 2013 -- Lakeshore Express Aviation today began flight service between Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW)and Oakland County International Airport (PTK).
Flights on Lakeshore Express' Saab 340b will run Thursday through Sunday between destinations. Lakeshore Express operates out of private terminals at both airports. At Midway, passengers check in and board the aircraft at Atlantic Aviation located at 5200 W. 63rd St.
The airline already operates the Chicago Midway to Pellston, MI route, established in 2011, to serve Chicago and Northern Michigan residents.
Founded in 2010, Lakeshore Express offers first-class legroom for all passengers, free snacks and cocktails, in addition to a Bags-Fly-Free policy, in accordance with weight restrictions.
