Mike Beck Joins Eaton As Vice President And General Manager, Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division

CLEVELAND … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced that Mike Beck has been named vice president and general manager of the Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division for Eaton’s Aerospace Group, effective June 3. In this position, Beck will report directly to Uday Yadav, president of Eaton’s Aerospace Group. He will be based in Fort Worth, TX.

“Mike is an accomplished leader with a strong track record of delivering results and building high performance teams throughout his diverse career within the aerospace industry. I am delighted to have him as a member of the Eaton Aerospace leadership team,” said Yadav. “After getting to know Mike over the last 7 months it’s clear that his commercial, program management and operations experience along with his customer focus make him ideal to lead the Fuel and Motion Control Division.”

Most recently, Beck was the chief executive officer of GKN Aerospace Engine Systems Business where he led the due diligence, business synergies and integration of a $1.1B acquisition. Prior to that, he was president and chief executive officer for GKN’s Propulsion Systems and Special Products Business where he led a global organization with 15 manufacturing locations. He was also responsible for the successful delivery of programs on major aerospace platforms. During Beck’s tenure with GKN Aerospace, he held other roles of increasing responsibility which include chief operating officer and site executive in St. Louis, Missouri, as well as a director and general manager in the United Kingdom. Early in his career, Beck was employed by British Aerospace, now BAE Systems.

Beck holds a master’s degree in business administration from Lincolnshire and Humberside University, U.K.
