Equator Aircraft Norway SA is very pleased to announce our selection for a complimentary exhibition space in the Innovation Pavilion at the focal point of AirVenture 2013 (corner of Celebration Way andKnapp Street).  This pavilion features exhibitors who have something new and electrifying in aviation.  EAA is excited to provide this complimentary exhibit space, made possible by their sponsors, companies and individuals who are vested in the future of aviation.

This small startup group that originated in Norway 4 years ago will be on hand to present the aircraft conception at the “Pitch and Mingle” Event on Tuesday July 30th, and will have a small booth with material presented all week. Here you can talk with the developers and get an idea of what the coming prototype will look and feel like through scale models and pictures.

The EQP2 “Excursion” is a Carbon/Kevlar Composite, Hybrid/Electric Powered Amphibious Aircraft aiming for the Experimental market as an easy to build DIY KIT aircraft. A high degree of laminar focus in the aerodynamics of the aircraft makes it extremely efficient and allows for a much larger cabin with less drag. The EQP2 “Excursion” will utilize float-wing technology and a fly-by-wire yaw control system.  The interior is a story of it's own with a practical dimension never seen before in light amphibious aircraft, or any light aircraft with similar properties.

The EQP2 “Excursion” is a paradigm shift in private light aviation. By focusing on usability as the focal point of our design philosophy, we transition the use of aircraft from a leisure and hobby driven activity into a mobility sphere. Aircraft are used to enhance life by decreasing tedious travel time, saving time and money, and presenting a much more enjoyable way to get from point A to point B.
