John Batten To Leave Swissport

Batten joined Swissport from Qatar Airways in August 2008.

Swissport International Ltd., the leading provider of ground services to the aviation industry, today announced that John Batten, executive vice president, cargo services and member of the Group Executive Management of Swissport International, will step down from his position effective Aug. 31 to pursue new opportunities.

Batten joined Swissport from Qatar Airways in August 2008.

“His contribution has been pivotal to the success of the Swissport’s Cargo Division”, says Per H. Utnegaard, Group President & CEO of Swissport International. “Swissport is very grateful for John 's dedication and exceptional contribution over the past five years”.

Batten will not leave the company until Aug. 31 to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities. A successor will be announced in due course.
