CHICAGO, May 23, 2013 - The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA), in partnership with Boingo, has unveiled a free Wi-Fi portal called "The Good Stuff" that allows visitors at O'Hare and Midway International Airports to have unlimited, free access to some of the most popular sites on the web.
Designed specifically for O'Hare and Midway, the Boingo portal allows users complimentary access to over 30 top sites for news, weather, shopping, entertainment, banking, travel and tourism, as well as local contact information.
"O'Hare and Midway are two of the city's most important economic engines, and this program is a clever and innovative way to make passenger experiences more enjoyable and productive," said Mayor Rahm Emanuel. "This program complements many exciting things going on in the wireless space around the city of Chicago."
Boingo used the latest design technology - responsive design - for the layout so that the site can be used seamlessly by any device type, including laptops, tablets and Smartphones.
"At Chicago's airports, we are constantly looking for ways to improve our travelers experience by offering the best amenities and services available in the industry, and making them accessible to the millions of visitors at O'Hare and Midway," said Chicago Department of Aviation Commissioner Rosemarie S. Andolino. "We understand fast, reliable and convenient Wi-Fi access is a very important part of our customers' experience. O'Hare and Midway have one of the fastest Wi-Fi networks in the country, and we are pleased to partner with Boingo to now offer complimentary Wi-Fi access to some of the most popular websites."
To access "The Good Stuff" portal while at O'Hare or Midway, users should visit the Boingo Wi-Fi network and select "The Good Stuff" panel on the left side on the page.
