Peter Norton Chief Executive of British Helicopter Association confirmed as Keynote Speaker at Rotary Operations Conference at Barclays London Heliport

The event will bring together helicopter manufacturers, operators, suppliers and industry chiefs to examine some of the new generation of helicopters

The one-day conference dedicated to commercial helicopter operations at the Barclays London Heliport, Battersea on Wednesday, 12 June, 2013 is swiftly taking shape with confirmation that Peter Norton, Chief Executive of the British Helicopter Association will be Keynote Speaker. Peter will discuss rotary operations in the Metro environment and the importance of adhering to rules and best practice in day to day operations in the face of commercial pressures.

Organised by MIU Events, the Rotary Operations Conference (ROC) is deliberately timed just one week ahead of the Paris Airshow offering a preview of some of the latest developments and initiatives within this growing industry.  The event will bring together helicopter manufacturers, operators, suppliers and industry chiefs to examine some of the new generation of helicopters which promise greater efficiency and enhanced operating economies, the role of the helicopter as a business tool, their interlining role to business jets, the experience of city heliports around the world, the safety and regulatory aspects of helicopters operating in metropolitan areas, maintenance management, finance and the status of the new and pre-owned market.

The event has attracted expert speakers and panellists including leading helicopter operators and key OEMs Sikorsky, Bell and Eurocopter.
