Superior Air Parts Announces Jalil Jatip Has Joined the Company as Director of Quality Assurance

Coppell, TX, May 02, 2013 — Superior Air Parts, Inc., announced today that Jalil Jatip has joined the company as the Director of Quality Assurance.

“Jalil brings a great deal of experience and a proven track record for successful quality management program implementation to the Superior team,” stated Timothy T. Archer, Superior Air Parts’ CEO and President. “His expertise will play an invaluable role in ensuring that our new PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval) parts and new engine development programs continue Superior’s industry-leading standards for quality and reliability.”

Archer stated that in his new position, along with overseeing Superior’s in-house production and quality assurance processes, Jalil would also be responsible for supporting the quality assurance programs at the company’s Beijing facility, as well as overseeing the quality control of Superior’s global supplier network.

“Jalil’s diverse background as both an experienced quality control inspector and a production machine operator and proven managerial experience makes him uniquely qualified to provide guidance to our domestic and international suppliers,” he said. “His experience will not only help us achieve the high production quality we require, but will also ensure that our suppliers control their costs.”

Prior to joining Superior Air Parts, Jalil was the Quality Fabrication Department Manager for Lockheed Martin overseeing quality fabrication programs for the F-16, F-22 and F-35 fighter aircraft. Before joining Lockheed Martin, he worked as the Senior CMM Programmer/Environmental Test Technician for Raytheon.
