Asian Business Aviation Association Announces New Board Leadership and Executive Committee Members

Kevin Wu has been re-elected as chairman and David Best and Charlie Mularski have been elected vice chairmen.

Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) announced during ABACE 2013 the election of new members to its Board of Directors and Executive Committee: the re-election of Chairman: Mr. Kevin Wu (Cessna Aircraft); the election of two new Vice Chairmen: Mr. David Best (BBA Aviation) and Mr. Charlie Mularski (Universal Weather & Aviation). The election of Ms. Saira Kanchwala (Arinc) and Mr. Sacha DUNAS (World Events Agency) as Executive Committee members. Besides, Mr. Zhang Qiang (Deer Jet) is appointed to be the Chairman of China Mainland Business Aviation Operator Committee.

Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) is honoured to welcome the new board members. Their diverse perspectives and experiences from their work in Business Aviation will enhance the efforts of AsBAA to serve the field with their guidance and leadership.

In partnership with the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), AsBAA co-hosted the annual Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE) - Asia's premier General and Business Aviation conference and static display.

AsBAA had a successful participation at ABACE 2013 featured with the AsBAA Annual General Meeting & Elections, the launch of AsBAA China Business Aviation Operator Committee and its first seminar, and AsBAA’s Booth, shared with IBAC, which was a great way to connect with existing members and promote to prospects.

Asian Business Aviation Association is a non-profit association which represents more than 80 entities. The purpose of the Asian Business Aviation Association is to promote the benefits of business aviation in Asia and to help the companies who rely on business aviation aircraft succeed in Asian market through advocacy, information, networking, coordination of messages among the members (we speak with one voice) and business support services.

The Association pursues this mission by fostering the highest degree of operational efficiency and safety, networking with business aviation entities in and outside of Asia and advocating the benefits of business aviation to regulatory agencies and industry groups. AsBAA is to strive for a beneficial environment to encourage business aviation to thrive in Asia.
