Lufthansa Technik, a leading provider of technical services for commercial, VIP & Executive jets, and Yunnan Jingcheng Group, one of China's leading companies that specializes in construction & tourism, and headquartered in Ruli, China, have signed a completion contract for a Boeing Business Jet. The project will start in November 2013 after the hand-over from the painting facility at Lufthansa Technik's US-subsidiary BizJet International in Tulsa/Oklahoma.

Ma Zhan Wei, Vice-President of Jingcheng Group commented "We are extremely happy to partner with Lufthansa Technik for our aircraft completion project. As an important member of the Lufthansa Technik VIP network, we are confident that BizJet will deliver a quality product that Lufthansa Technik is known for in the VIP industry.

Lufthansa Technik's success in China continues to capture their flexibility and understanding of the Chinese culture."

Walter Heerdt, Senior Vice-President Marketing & Sales of Lufthansa Technik said: "We are very proud to be selected as Jingcheng's partner for this project. This contract is clear evidence that our business strategy is on the right track and the international market continues to recognize Lufthansa Technik as a market leader. Over the past years our subsidiary BizJet International has already proven its excellent completion expertise in several demanding projects for Chinese and other Asian customers. I am absolutely sure that they will deliver a top-quality product also to Jingcheng Group."

"It's no surprise that aircraft orders and deliveries continue to soar in the Asian market and Lufthansa Technik is working very hard to continue its role as the market leader for providing services into this area. With BizJet's remarkable success with narrow body completions, Lufthansa Technik will continue to invest in resources to offer options to customers that showcase our flexibility, quality and innovations" says Manfred Gaertner, BizJet's President and CEO.
