BizJet International, Lufthansa Technik's hundred percent US subsidiary based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has announced it will launch its support for Rolls-Royce Tay 611-8C, powering the Gulfstream 450, in 2013. BizJet is already an authorized overhaul facility for Rolls-Royce Spey 511-8, powering the Gulfstream II, III and Rolls-Royce Tay 611-8 engines, which power the Gulfstream IV/IV-SP.
Brian Barber, Vice-President Sales & Marketing for BizJet says, "We feel the timing is perfect for our market approach and launch into supporting the Tay 611-8C as the age of the fleet and demand is just beginning. We have built our reputation on our competitive pricing, quality, turn times and more importantly, our customer service, and are confident that Gulfstream 450 operators will appreciate what we offer."
BizJet's service portfolio on all engine types includes engine repair, module refurbishment and full overhaul. BizJet began servicing Rolls-Royce engines in 2004. Since then, it has continued to gain market share each year and has already set a new standard with the industry's turn-around time.
