The AIAA Region II Student Conference provides an opportunity for students in the Southeast region to present a technical paper to their peers with monetary prizes in multiple categories, including Master Student, Undergraduate Student, Team, Freshman/Sophomore and Community Outreach. The conference was hosted by NC State University in Raleigh, N.C., April 8-9. LORD Corporation served as a platinum sponsor for the event.

During the Monday and Tuesday day sessions, Bryan joined other professionals in the technology industry to provide constructive criticism to each student who submitted a paper for review. Judges provided comment and guidance to students following oral presentations of their papers.

Miller and Bryan served on the career development panel that took place on Monday evening. The event provided students with the opportunity to meet with local business people in an informal question-and-answer session. Students inquired about industry trends, typical work responsibilities and preparation needed for job interviews, among other topics.
