ATLANTA, GA. – April 8, 2013 – Vibration Solutions North (VSN), a subsidiary of Moscow Mills, Inc., will demonstrate its patent-pending Kin-Dex™ balancing tooling in Booth 332-334 at the MRO Americas conference being held April 16-18 at the Georgia World Congress Center. In the demonstration area, VSN balancing experts will show MROs how they can dramatically reduce their balancing setup time while increasing repeatability and still meet the tighter tolerance requirements for new generation jet engine rotors.
Kin-Dex balancing tools incorporate kinematic mounting principles to greatly increase repeatability when locating rotors on a fixture or during the indexing process. By improving repeatability, MROs can dramatically speed up the business process of balancing because no time is wasted in trying to “dial in” the previous location.

The VSN demonstration of Kin-Dex technology will be performed on a CEMB Model ZB100 hard bearing, 2-plane balancing machine, with new B11 instrumentation, designed specifically for aerospace applications.
