Orlando … ASIG®, an industry leader in aviation services, announced today that it has been awarded the contract to provide full ground handling and passenger services to EVA Air at London Heathrow Airport (LHR). At Heathrow, ASIG has been providing EVA with cabin cleaning and aircraft deicing services since 2005. New services for EVA commenced today.
EVA Air are one of the world’s premier airlines operating passenger and dedicated cargo services to over 64 international destinations in Asia, Australia, Europe and North America. EVA Air is scheduled to join the Star Alliance later in 2013 and ASIG is pleased to add another Star carrier to its portfolio. ASIG will also support EVA Air, along with its current Star Alliance customers, when it moves to Star’s dedicated terminal at London Heathrow.

ASIG is providing both deicing and anti-icing services for several carriers, including Eva Air Korean Air, Malaysian Airlines and United Airlines.
Airport's new terminal is expected to open in June 2014.
