Moline, IL, April 2, 2013 - Elliott Aviation, a leader in a diverse set of business aviation services today announced the hire of John Crabtree as Avionics Manager. In his new role, Crabtree will oversee an avionics department of 30 technicians and will lead one of the most successful avionics retrofit programs in history, Elliott Aviation’s industry-leading King Air Garmin G1000 retrofit program.
Crabtree’s 28 years of avionics experience started when he was an Avionics Technician in the US Navy. In addition, he has worked on a diverse set of aircraft when previously employed at Gulfstream, Standard Aero and most recently as the Avionics Manager of Hawker Beechcraft Services.
