WICHITA, Kan., March 25, 2013 – Matrix Aviation, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, celebrates a 30 year milestone of providing excellent customer service and logistical support to customers worldwide.

Matrix Aviation was founded in Wichita, Kan. in 1983 by John Lambert as an avionics parts and distribution center.  Matrix was acquired by Banner Aerospace in 1987 and in 2009 Banner Aerospace and its companies, including Matrix Aviation, were acquired by Greenwich AeroGroup.

“Matrix has grown from a supplier of analog altimeters and flight instruments to an organization known for its expertise and extensive overhauled inventory for the Corporate Jet and Turbo-Prop fleets,” said President of Matrix Aviation Ted Miller.  “As the industry has changed over the last 30 years we too have modified the way we look at business, so we can continue to serve the needs of our customers and be profitable in this shifting, technology driven business.”

Today, Matrix is a worldwide supplier of digital radar, TCAS and other avionics products and buys and sells surplus avionics inventory on a daily basis.

Miller gives credit to the employees of Matrix for the company’s continued success.  “We have employees who have been with this company for more than 20 years, and our entire staff is extremely customer service oriented and dedicated to meeting the varying needs of business aviation aircraft everywhere.”
