Singapore, March 14th 2013: A J Walter Aviation has appointed Christian Duhain as Managing Director, Asia-Pacific. Based in the Singapore office he moves to this leading role from the position of Non-Executive Director and will use his extensive global experience and significant OEM expertise to spearhead AJW group’s fast developing business interests across the region.
This appointment is one of several senior management roles that AJW has identified to enhance its commercial and business capabilities. Christian was most recently Corporate Vice President EADS International Development for Asia-Pacific and Latin America, prior to that he held senior positions in Matra Hachette, Aerospatiale Matra and Dassault.

Over the past few years we have inaugurated office and warehousing in Singapore, Miami and Dubai with additional strategic spares hubs located across Europe and the US; the new AJW Technique component repair and overhaul operation has commenced in Montreal; and we have engines, consumables, and aircraft part-out divisions running alongside our mainstream component services business which is controlled from our new global headquarters in the UK. Christian’s international and political expertise will be an enormous asset to help us gain recognition for the group’s far-reaching specialised aviation services throughout the Asia Pacific region.”
Benjamin Leong has also recently joined the Singapore team as Regional Sales Manager and brings significant experience gained in aviation at the Republic of Singapore Air Force and at Hamilton Sundstrand. “Benjamin’s local knowledge and technical background will be invaluable to AJW” comments Sam King, General Manager at A J Walter Aviation Singapore. “He will further strengthen the support that we give to our current clients and be instrumental in developing our burgeoning relationships with operators looking for the uniquely comprehensive and flexible solutions that AJW provides.”
