Cameron Joins Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings as Consultant

Dr. Randy Cameron will act as lead consultant for its expanding OEM qualifications process and strategic development for its growing commercial, military and original equipment manufacturing business.

Andover, Kan. - Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings announced Dr. Randy Cameron has joined its management team.  Dr. Cameron will act as lead consultant for its expanding OEM qualifications process and strategic development for its growing commercial, military and original equipment manufacturing business. The announcement was made by Karen O’Hara, Global Sales Director - Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings.

Dr. Cameron received his Ph.D. from Princeton and has more than 25 years of aerospace industry experience.  Formerly with Lockheed Martin, PPG Industries, U.S. Paint and Mankiewicz Coatings, he is also founder and president of his own company, Instrumental Polymer Technologies, LLC (IP Tech).  The latter produces high performance polyols to help meet tightening EPA regulations within the aviation coatings market. He holds four patents with a fifth patent pending and has authored multiple industry papers.

“Randy brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our organization and that of our extensive customer base,” said O’Hara. “He will be acting as an interface between the major OEMs and our aerospace laboratory for qualifying and the development of future products.”
