LAS VEGAS, NEV. (MARKETWIRE – March 3, 2013 – HELI-EXPO) The time between overhaul (TBO) for all new PW206 and PW207 engines has been extended to 4,000 hours. The announcement was made during the Helicopter Association International (HAI) HELI-EXPO in Las Vegas, Nev. P&WC is a United Technologies Corporation company (NYSE:UTX).

The TBO extension is applicable to all new PW206 and PW207 engines. It is also available to engines currently in service that meet specifications as outlined in Service Information Letter No. PW200-045. An engine upgrade is available to operators wanting to take advantage of the increased TBO interval, which brings additional value from an operating cost standpoint.
