OFMK Names Eric Byer Senior Vice President
In his new role, Byer will bolster the firm’s internal and external communications activities and expand its association management practice.
ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA – Obadal, Filler, MacLeod & Klein (OFMK) today named aviation industry veteran Eric R. Byer as the firm’s senior vice president.
Byer joins OFMK after 14 years at the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) as its vice president of government & industry affairs. During his tenure at NATA, Byer led an experienced team focused on a wide array of legislative, regulatory, and security issues affecting America’s aviation businesses.
In his new role, Byer will bolster the firm’s internal and external communications activities and expand its association management practice.

Prior to NATA, Eric was a senior government affairs coordinator at Smith, Bucklin and Associates, legislative/staff assistant to Rep. William F. Clinger, Jr. (R-Pa.), and worked for Rep. Dean Gallo (R-N.J.). He holds a B.A. in political science from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pa. and an M.A. in government from Johns Hopkins University.
