Dallas, Texas…February 27, 2013… Dallas Airmotive has been awarded Honeywell line authorization for the RE220 auxiliary power unit (APU) used on long-range Bombardier and Gulfstream business jets. Dallas Airmotive will offer a variety of field service capabilities to include on-site engine and borescope inspections, troubleshooting, accessory and LRU replacement, and APU removal and reinstallation.

“This Honeywell authorization complements our existing engine and APU approvals and will enable us to more completely service a key strategic segment of our customer base,” commented Doug Meador, President of Dallas Airmotive. “We have enjoyed successful relationships with Gulfstream and Bombardier operators for many years,” Meador continued. “The addition of the RE220 allows us to extend our field support services to include all Gulfstream and Bombardier long-range aircraft.
