Flight Crews Unlimited Appoints Marla McGatlin Director, Business Development
The addition of McGatlin to the Flight Crews team is the next step in the company's growth plan to meet the needs of reputable U.S. flight departments and a growing concern over the classification of contract crews.
Chicago, IL - February 25, 2013 - Flight Crews Unlimited, a leading business aviation staffing agency, has announced the appointment of Marla McGatlin, Director, Business Development. In her new role, Ms. McGatlin is responsible for client service management and new global business development.
"We are pleased to have Marla join our team," said Kelly Tolomeo, Vice President of Flight Crews. "She brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience that will directly benefit our clients," continued Tolomeo. "Marla shares our philosophy with respect to building relationships based on trust, integrity, and service, and we are confident in her ability to help us grow the business by meeting the needs of our clientele."
Speaking on her recent appointment, Marla commented, "I am honored to be working with such a great group of people and look forward to working with our clients and other flight departments to assist them with their staffing needs."
A veteran in the business aviation industry, McGatlin has held several leadership positions throughout her career with companies such as Solairus Aviation, TAG Aviation, and Jeppesen. Most recently, she was the Vice President, Client Services for Petaluma CA-based Solairus Aviation where she was responsible for the company's customer focus service teams and helped build several successful client retention programs. In her new role, McGatlin is focused on serving Flight Crews' existing clients, as well as building new relationships with flight departments and developing crewing solutions that meet their needs.
Flight Crews recently announced an internal restructure of the company, further enhancing the risk management solutions it provides its clients. These solutions give flight departments access to fully vetted, qualified crew members without the headache of meeting regulatory classification requirements. In an article recently published by the NBAA called, Employee or Contractor? Avoid Pitfalls When Hiring Temporary Crews, industry experts warned of the legal and financial implications of classifying temporary staff - a problem, they say, which can be avoided by using an appropriately structured staffing agency like Flight Crews. The addition of McGatlin to the Flight Crews team is the next step in the company's growth plan to meet the needs of reputable U.S. flight departments and a growing concern over the classification of contract crews.
