Aviall and Sofrance Sign Agreement for Global Distribution of Spare Filtration Products

The agreement authorizes Aviall to market and distribute Sofrance aftermarket products to customers in the commercial sector from Aviall's 40 global customer service centers

Dallas, Texas, February 15, 2013 – Aviall Services, Inc., a subsidiary of The Boeing Company, has entered into a distribution agreement with Sofrance, a subsidiary of Safran, to market and distribute spare filtration products designed and manufactured by Sofrance.

Sofrance is a leading developer of solutions for customers to filter fluids and gases to protect equipment in aeronautics, industry, defense and space. The company supports a large variety of airframes, engines, operators, and MROs in the aerospace industry.

The new agreement, which is effective immediately, authorizes Aviall to market and distribute Sofrance aftermarket products to customers in the commercial sector from Aviall’s 40 global customer service centers in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
