He will be President of Alabama Aircraft Support (AAS) and Chief Operating Officer of AAS' Arizona-based sister company, Overseas Aircraft Support (OAS).
Enterprise, AL – February 15, 2013 – Brightwater Partners, LLC, is pleased to announce that Ronnie Kearns has been appointed to key positions at two of their portfolio companies: President of Alabama Aircraft Support (AAS) and Chief Operating Officer of AAS’ Arizona-based sister company, Overseas Aircraft Support (OAS).
Based in Enterprise, Alabama, Alabama Aircraft Support was established in July 2012 with the primary focus on the support of the Bell Helicopter market both commercial and military in the Southeast United States. As esteemed resources for Bell Medium Helicopter parts, refurbishing, testing and technical expertise, AAS and OAS have firmly established themselves within the helicopter repair and refurbishment industry, securing contracts with multiple government entities including a 5-year overhaul contract with the US State Department with a potential value of $110 million dollars.
With over 30 years aircraft MRO experience, Mr. Kearns joined Alabama Aircraft Support and Overseas Aircraft Support after working for over seven years in senior leadership positions for Vector Aerospace in Vancouver, British Columbia, which experienced significant growth under his leadership.
“I am amply excited by the opportunities presented to me by Brightwater Partners,” said Mr. Kearns regarding the announcement. “The two companies are in such great positions at this time, and I am confident that, with the support of the excellent management teams already in place, I can build on the already stellar reputation each company holds.
