Jet Aviation Dubai Opens FBO at Al Maktoum International Airport Dubai World Central

It was granted permission to operate an FBO at Dubai World Central's (DWC) Al Maktoum International Airport following its appointment as the dedicated ground handling service provider for the Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) exhibition in December 2012.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates / February 14, 2013 – Jet Aviation Dubai recently opened a new FBO facility at Dubai World Central’s Al Maktoum International Airport. The company continues to provide MRO and FBO services at Dubai International Airport.

Jet Aviation was granted permission to permanently operate an FBO at Dubai World Central’s (DWC) Al Maktoum International Airport following its appointment as the dedicated ground handling service provider for the Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) exhibition in December 2012. The company will continue to provide maintenance and FBO operations at Dubai International Airport, the other international airport in Dubai.

For passengers and crew members, Jet Aviation’s FBO at Al Maktoum International Airport provides 24/7 handling services such as immigration and customs support, crew transportation, hotel reservations and catering coordination. Aircraft services include taxiing, luggage handling, lavatory drainage and aircraft refueling service for which all Jet Aviation FBO and MRO customers in EMEA receive preferential rates. Amenities at the facility include two new customer lounges.

Jet Aviation Dubai’s maintenance and FBO operations at Dubai International Airport were established in May 2005 as a joint venture company with the AL Mulla Group. The facility has a total of 4,200 square meters (45,192 square feet) of hangar space, a workshop area of 1,000 square meters (10,760 square feet), and a two-storey FBO building with an area of 1,050 square meters (11,300 square feet). The facility holds EASA #145.0317 maintenance approval and is an FAA #U8JY426Y repair station. It also holds Bermuda DCA, Cayman CAA, Jordan CARC, Saudi Arabia PCA and UAE GCAA approvals. Jet Aviation Dubai is an authorized service center for maintenance and warranty support to Boeing BBJ, the Airbus 320 series, Bombardier Challenger 604/605,the Gulfstream GIV and GV series, the Dassault Falcon 900, 2000 and 7X series, and full service capability for Hawker Beechcraft 800/900 series and Embraer Legacy aircraft, including L4 and L12
inspections.
